-Privacy Policy
Christian Scott recognise that the consumer marketing information we maintain must be used responsibly, in beneficial ways and with respect to individual choice. We have a strict privacy policy and your name, email address and other details will NOT be given to a third party outside of Christian Scott Ltd. All information collected from us is done so for order processing and for promotional reasons and all promotional material sent from us will provide customers with notice of their ability to opt-out of Christian Scott promotional activities. We we will honour our customers` requests not to receive e-mail, mail, telephone or other solicitations from Christian Scott Limited. Information is collected from us through the ordering/registration process, through email enquiries and through our `join mailing list` form and is done so lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

If you are part of our mailing list and wish to unsubscribe please email us at unsubscribe@christianscott.com with the word unsubscribe typed in the subject line. Please also ensure you have given us you correct email address and contact details to ensure we can erase your details.

-Security of Credit Card Payment Options
The Christian Scott Web site uses the latest Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for all pages that requests credit card information. This ensures that all relevant information regarding credit card details are safely encrypted and processed only by Christian Scott. Our SSL and encryption systems renders information unreadable should anyone try to intercept it.

-Unauthorised use of Credit Cards
We have a strict policy of investigating all attempts at ordering from our website by unauthorised persons using stolen credit card numbers. All suspicious orders will be investigated by sophisticated means and if necessary the information will be passed to the relevant government agencies in both this country and the countries involved. We reserve the right to double check all orders and restrict shipping as and when we choose.

-All items sold are subject to availability.
All offers are subject to stock availability. We will of course notify you immediately if we have run out of any goods you have ordered. We will not charge you for any orders you have made of non-remaining stock. Product availability are subject to change without notice.

-Orders
We will only process orders where full authorisation of payment has been obtained. We reserve the right to refuse or restrict any purchase.

-Guarantees
Christian Scott of Scotland guarantees customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with the goods you have bought please return them to us within 14 days of delivery. You will receive a full refund, providing the goods are delivered in new condition.

Any item delivered to you with a different size or colour to the one you ordered can be exchange with no extra charge. If the relevant stocks do not remain under this circumstance you will be offered the chance to exchange the item to another one of your choosing or ask for a full refund.

Should you order the wrong size unintentionally, we shall exchange the item providing we receive the item within 14 days of delivery, in new condition and providing we have the size you require in stock. However, you may be liable for the extra cost of delivery.

-Return Procedures of unwanted goods
In the highly unlikely event of customer dissatisfaction please return the goods to the following address and e-mail us to tell us about your reasons for doing so. We are committed to providing you a first class service.

Return postage of unwanted goods will be the responsibility of the customer. This policy does not affect your UK statutory rights.

-Return Procedures of faulty goods
In the highly unlikely event of being sent faulty goods please return the goods to the above address with a description of any faults. Where goods have been returned faulty within 14 days after we have dispatched it to you we will provide a full refund including the cost of postage. (We will not pay for express or special delivey charges - we will only pay for standard or economy delivery so don`t return items to us using express delivery - we won`t pay for it!).

-Refunds
We will refund any faulty goods or goods that you are not completely satisfied with (see Guarantees), providing they reach us within 14 days of delivery.

-Faulty Goods
Any faulty items delivered to you will be refunded as above or replaced free of charge once you have returned the goods to us.

-Exchange of Goods
We will be happy to exchange any items you are not completely satisfied with providing they are returned to us within 14 days of delivery. Please e-mail sales@christianscott.com for more info.

-Delivery Times
It is our policy to ensure you receive your goods as quickly as possible. In most cases we dispatch the orders the same day or the day after the order has been placed. Standard delivery usually takes about 2 - 3 working days in the UK, within 5 working days to mainland Europe and the USA and between 7 and 14 working days to the rest of the world, depending on the country you reside. Exrpress shipping should arrive the next day from dispatch in the UK 2-3 days to the US and mainland Europe and 5 to 10 days the rest of the world. Once orders have been sent by us it is the responsibility of the shipping company to ensure correct and timely delivery.

-Deliver Methods & Charges
Delivery is applied to standard and express Royal Mail, ParcelForce and DHL costs from estimation of item weight. The cost of delivery also includes cost of packing.

-Application of VAT
Prices shown are either inclusive or exclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) or both, depending if a customer has logged in or not, and where they have registered their country of origin. This will be clearly indicated. Orders sent to counties outside the EU are VAT free. Please note on International shipments that the recipient is responsible for any local import duties and taxes that may be charged.
